Maria holds an MBA in Management Information Systems and a Masters in Accountancy; but her true passion has always been helping people realize that we are all royalty in our own way, and looking great is not optional, but a necessity. That is the foundation of Zah’ret Makeup Art and Curated Styling. It is our undeterred conviction that has made Zah’ret a name to reckon with in such a short time. Today the brand has grown one ZBride, ZGal and ZLash at a time into a cohesive community of women (and men) who know and feel their beauty. We invite all of our clients to meet with us, get to know us, and help us share their vision for those moments before they make any commitments.
Maria is formally certified thrice as a makeup artist; from Maliha Khan Makeup, a local NJ academy specializing in contemporary South Asian bridal makeup, Nina Makeup, a prestigious state-recognized beauty school in the Garment District and Sohal of the Blue Rose Artistry fame. Maria specializes in bridal, editorial, and runway looks by the State of New York. When Maria isn’t working on making your dreams come true or being a mom to her two wonderful boys, she is often lost in a good book. She loves to travel and luckily her work fulfills her wanderlust desires. Her role models include Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Eleanor Roosevelt and OF COURSE, Coco Chanel. She loves Coco’s story so much that she nicknamed her niece Coco after the style icon.
